Cineville is a fast-growing film company and the film club for everyone who wants to look further. What do we do? We help filmgoers discover as many good films as possible. Cineville now has more than 100,000 members. Together, they go to the cinema almost two million times a year in more than two hundred cinemas across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany and Sweden.
Cineville is a small organisation where everyone is encouraged to speak up and take responsibility. As a Customer Support Employee we expect you to enjoy being an active part of a small and driven team.Customer Support Employee (Swedish speaking)
Who we are
What you'll be doing
As a Customer Support Employee, you help Cineville members by email when they run into something they can’t figure out. You make sure they receive quick, clear and friendly answers to their questions.
Sometimes the question is simple. Sometimes it takes a bit more investigating. You find out what is going on, look for the right solution and make sure members know where they stand.
You will also print and send out Cineville cards, so new members receive their card within a week. In addition to the work for Cineville, we also answer emails and print cards for other film subscriptions. This means you will switch between different questions, systems and subscriptions, always with the same level of attention: reading carefully, figuring things out smartly and communicating clearly. Next to that you help with managing the film agenda for Cineville Sweden.
Customer Support at Cineville is personal and flexible. We like to think along with our members. We prefer to look at people and situations rather than only at rules and frameworks. Of course, those exist too, but we find it important to communicate with our members in our own way: creative and open rather than hard and strict.What you’ll be working on
You’ll be working on the daily experience of Cineville members and other film subscription users. When someone has a question, something doesn’t work, or a card hasn’t arrived yet, you help make sure they feel seen, understood and clearly informed.
A big part of your work will be supporting Swedish-speaking members by email. You’ll help them navigate their subscription, payments, account questions and card-related issues. You don’t need to have every answer immediately. You do need to enjoy figuring things out, asking the right questions and explaining the outcome in a friendly and understandable way.
You’ll also help keep our support process running smoothly. That means working carefully in different systems, printing and sending out cards, keeping an eye on recurring questions and noticing where things could be clearer or more practical. Small improvements matter here. A better answer, a clearer process or a smoother handover can make a real difference for members and for the team.Who you are
You like helping people in a clear, friendly and practical way. You take the time to understand what someone needs, and you enjoy figuring things out when the answer is not immediately obvious.
You work accurately and independently, but you also know when to ask a colleague to think along. You feel comfortable in a small team where everyone takes responsibility and where your work has visible impact.
For this role, we are looking for someone who:
- speaks Swedish at a minimum B2 level;
- speaks English at a minimum B1 level;
- speaks Dutch at a minimum A2 level;
- writes in a clear, friendly and understandable way;
- is comfortable working with different systems, such as an email environment, a payment provider and a database;
- likes creating order in chaos;
- brings positive energy to the team.
Nice to have
It’s a plus if you also speak Danish at B1/B2 level.
Living in or around Amsterdam is helpful, but not a hard requirement. And of course, an interest in film, cinemas or cultural organisations is always a good match with Cineville.What we offer
